40mm 3M Double-Sided Adhesive Pad – Keep It Stuck, Not Sunk

Flags flopping? Air freshener doing a bungee? This 40mm 3M double-sided pad brings the grip back. It’s a direct fit for our self-adhesive windscreen flag mounts, works a charm to pin down solid base holders if you want them properly planted, and yes — it’s a spot-on match for Poppy air fresheners too.

Fitting Guide (60 Seconds, No Nonsense)

  1. Clean both surfaces (glass/dash & the mount or freshener) with an alcohol wipe. Dry thoroughly.
  2. Peel one side of the pad, stick to the accessory (mount / base / Poppy). Press firmly 20–30s.
  3. Peel the other side and place onto the final surface. Press again 20–30s.
  4. Pro tip: Let it cure for at least 1 hour (overnight is best) before going full send over speed bumps.
Removal Tips (When You Change Your Mind)
Warm gently with a hairdryer, floss behind the pad with dental floss, then clean residue with adhesive remover or isopropyl.
FAQ (Because Someone Will Ask)
  • Will it hold the solid base on its own? Yes — if you want the base fixed, this pad will pin it. Clean surface = best results.
  • Is it actually 3M? Yes. We don’t mess about with knock-offs.
  • Does it fit Poppy air fresheners? Like a glove. 40mm is the sweet spot.
  • Glass vs dash? Works on clean glass and smooth dashboards. Textured dashboards reduce grip — clean and press longer.
